Recently Renault has introduced the third generation Duster in India, which is based on the global model. The company had discontinued the first generation Duster in 2022, after which Duster has now been brought in a new and more modern avatar. Let us know about the advanced features of this vehicle.
Advanced features have been added to the cabin of the new Renault Duster. Its dashboard matches the boxy exterior. The SUV has a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Along with this, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting and panoramic sunroof are also available.
How are the features of the car?
The vehicle has dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, 6-way power adjustable driver seat and powered tailgate. For safety, there is also a 360 degree camera and ADAS package with 17 features. Its boot space is 700 litres.
How is the powertrain of Renault Duster?
Three engine options are given in the new Duster. The first is Turbo TCe 160 petrol engine, which gives power of 163 PS and torque of 280 Nm. It comes with a 6-speed DCT gearbox. The second is a 1.8 liter E-Tech 160 Strong hybrid engine, which has a 1.4 kWh battery and 8-speed gearbox. The company claims that it can run up to 80 percent in electric mode in the city. The third is TCe 100 petrol engine, which gives 100 PS power. The ground clearance of the SUV is 212 mm.
Talking about design, the new Duster retains its old boxy style, but modern elements like new headlamps, connected LED tail lamps and strong bumper have been added to it. The company had already started its pre-booking. The SUV will be launched in March and deliveries of the turbo petrol variant are expected to begin from April. The company is also giving 7 years warranty.
