Which course is necessary to become an astronaut?

Preparation to become an astronaut starts from school itself. After 10th you should choose Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM). There is no separate degree to become an astronaut, but some courses are most helpful for this. Like Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Space Science, Robotics and Aviation or Pilot Training. It is necessary to do graduation (B.Tech or B.Sc) in any one of these fields.

Best institute to become an astronaut

There are some best institutes in India from where you can study space related studies. In which IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology), Thiruvananthapuram is the most special institute associated with ISRO. IITs (like Bombay, Kanpur, Madras, Kharagpur) and MIT (Madras Institute of Technology). By studying from these colleges, you get better opportunities in the space sector.

Where can I get my first job?

To become an astronaut, the first job is not directly available as an astronaut, but one starts from related fields. After completing studies, one can start career with ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited), private space companies and research labs. If your performance is good, you may get a chance to get a job in ISRO directly from IIST.

Another strong way to become an astronaut is to join the Indian Air Force (IAF) or enter through NDA (National Defense Academy) or later become a test pilot. Many astronauts have previously been fighter pilots or test pilots, hence this path is considered very important.
