In the last few years, many states have implemented such schemes, in which money is transferred directly to the bank accounts of women every month. The objective of these schemes is to provide financial support to women for household expenses and make them self-reliant. Meanwhile, there is also discussion regarding comparison of cash assistance schemes running in the states. In such a situation, let us tell you today which government sends the most money to women’s accounts and which state has the strongest scheme.
Jharkhand’s Mainiya Samman Yojana provides maximum help
If we talk about monthly assistance, Jharkhand Chief Minister Mainiyan Samman Yojana is considered to be at the forefront in this matter. Under this scheme, the state government provides financial assistance of Rs 2500 every month to eligible women aged 18 to 50 years. This scheme has been specially designed for those women who are financially weak. Initially a less amount was given under this scheme, but in December 2024 it was increased to Rs 2500 per month. After this, this scheme became very popular among women and a large number of women are taking benefit from it.

Bihar’s women employment scheme is also a strong scheme
The Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana running in Bihar is also considered a big opportunity for women. The objective of this scheme is to connect women with self-employment and make them financially self-reliant. Under this scheme, financial assistance ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 2 lakh 10 thousand is given in installments to eligible women. However, this is not a monthly plan. Women can use this money to start small businesses or for skill training. According to government figures, till now more than one crore women have taken the benefit of this scheme. Many women have also started small businesses like tailoring, beauty parlor, grocery and shop with this assistance amount.
Haryana’s Lado Lakshmi scheme also in discussion
Haryana Government has also started Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana to improve the economic condition of women. This scheme was started on 25 September 2025. Under this, eligible women are given assistance of Rs 2100 directly into their bank accounts every month. Applications for this scheme can be made through online portal and mobile app and its first installment was released from November 2025.
Schemes of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh also popular
Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana of Maharashtra Government is also included in the big schemes of the country. Under this, economically weaker women aged between 21 to 65 years are given Rs 1500 every month. To avail the benefit of this scheme, the annual income of the family must be less than Rs 2.5 lakh. Ladli Brahmin Yojana running in Madhya Pradesh is also much discussed. Under this scheme, women are being given Rs 1500 every month from December 2025.
