Four Chief Ministers from the same university

The contribution of TMBU in the politics of Bihar is very big. Bhola Paswan Shastri, who was a student here, became the Chief Minister of Bihar thrice. After him, Jagannath Mishra, who was a student of TNB College and lived in the Western Block, also took charge of the state. In this series, Bhagwat Jha Azad and Chandrashekhar Singh were also students of TMBU. Both of them held the post of Chief Minister of Bihar.

Bhola Paswan Shastri

Talking about Bhola Paswan Shastri, he became the CM of Bihar thrice. First from February 1968 to June 1968, then from June 1969 to July 1969, and then from June 1971 to January 1972. Although his tenure was short.

Jagannath Mishra

Talking about Jagannath Mishra, he took oath as the 14th CM of the state. He also held the post of Chief Minister of the state three times. Dr. Mishra became the Chief Minister of Bihar for the first time in the year 1975. He was given command for the second time in the year 1980 and last held the post of CM of Bihar from 1989 to 1990.

Bhagwat Jha Azad

Bhagwat Jha Azad was sworn in as the 18th Chief Minister of Bihar state. He remained the Chief Minister of Bihar from 14 February 1988 to 10 March 1989.

Chandrashekhar Singh

Apart from these, Chandrashekhar Singh of the same institute also took charge of the state. He was the CM of Bihar from 14 August 1983 to 12 March 1985.
