Under the leadership of Manoj Jarange Patil, there was a movement for Maratha reservation on a large scale. Thousands of millions of people from the Maratha community gathered and put their demands in front of the government. It was announced that until all the demands of the Marathas are met, the movement and hunger strike would continue. The government had also accepted this. However, now the announcement made by Devendra Fadnavis’s government has received a big shock to Manoj Jaranga.
Actually, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced that not all Marathas will get a Kunbi certificate. The person whose name will be recorded in Hyderabad Gadget as Kunbi will be given only a certificate.
Everyone had a demand for Kunbi Certificate
Manoj Jarange Patil is constantly demanding that all the Marathas of Marathwada be given a Kunbi certificate, so that they can get reservation in the OBC category but the government has not fully accepted this demand. Yesterday (7 September), while addressing a public meeting in Pune, CE Devendra Fadnavis said-
“All the records of Marathwada are in the Hyderabad gadget. The British records are not available, so we have decided that we will run according to the records of Hyderabad Gadget. Whose name will be included in the record, the certificate will be given.
‘OBC society will never let the harm to be done’- Devendra Fadnavis
Devendra Fadnavis said, “Those who are included in the records, we have made such an easy process. Because of this, the Maratha society who has the right record will not be deprived, it will not get the benefit. OBC will not get any benefit from the plate of society. This decision has not only given interest of the Maratha society, as well as the OBC society has not been hurt. Will not let it hurt. “
