According to Patna Municipal Corporation, any person caught spitting on the road, footpath, park, government office or any public place will be punished. He will be considered a city enemy. But the action will not end here. The corporation has decided that photographs of those spreading filth will be shown on the big VMD screens installed in the city.

This much fine will have to be paid
A fine of Rs 500 will also be collected on the spot from the persons declared city enemies in Patna. This means that breaking the rules will not only result in a loss of pocket but will also spoil the image. The Municipal Corporation believes that when people will be recognized publicly. 24 hour surveillance through smart city cameras
The Integrated Command and Control Center of Patna will form the backbone of this entire campaign. More than 3300 CCTV cameras have been installed at about 415 locations in the city. All these cameras are connected to the control room located at Gandhi Maidan. Roads, intersections, flyovers and crowded areas will be monitored digitally all the time. As soon as someone spitting or spreading filth will be captured on camera.
He will be identified and an alert will be sent to the Municipal Corporation team. According to Patna Smart City Limited MD cum Municipal Commissioner Animesh Kumar Parashar, this campaign is not only related to the beauty of the city but also to public health. Stopping pollution will now be based on technology and not just on manpower.
