Famous casting director Mukesh Chhabra has recently talked about this during an interview with the Indian Express. When he was asked the question that which Indian director is such that the Oscar can win, he said without any hesitation-
‘If someone can bring an Oscar in India, then he is only Raju sir i.e. Rajkumar Hirani. He further said that Rajkumar Hirani makes films from the heart, there is a truth in his every shot.

Mukesh Chhabra says that working with Hirani is nothing short of a film school. They casting every artist closely and work on the script for years. His detailing and the art of telling the story makes him the most different.
He further said that if India has to win an Oscar, then according to his expectations, Rajkumar Hirani is the name that can win.
