Rinku Singh played the same ball in the entire Asia Cup and hit the winning four against Pakistan in the same ball and included it in the indelible memories of the cricket lovers.
Rinku was the first match in the final tournament against Pakistan. He played the fourth ball in the last over of Haris Rauf which was his first ball in the tournament and gave India a ninth time Asia Cup title by hitting the midain.
After winning the exciting final, Rinku said, “Nothing does not matter.” A ball matters. The one I want to be on which I hit a four. Everyone knows that I am a finisher. The team won and I am very happy. ”
India’s vice -captain Shubman Gill told the official broadcaster, “It is amazing. We remained unbeatable throughout the tournament. Looks great. “Gill said,” We were talking about each other in the form of dressing that the match has to be pulled till the end. The goal was not big but not to come under pressure. The initial three wickets are not easy after falling early. Those sixes of Sanju and Tilak’s partnership and Dubey were very important. ”
Bowling coach Morney Morkel praised the batsmen and said, “Today the boys performed brilliantly. The start in the powerplay was not good but later a great batting. It was a good opportunity for Dubey and he used it completely. ”
Shivam Dubey was replaced by the injured Hardik Pandya. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who took four wickets, said, “Bowling is very important in the middle overs. We are playing together spinner and everyone has a different role. Pakistan started very well but we knew that if some wickets went out, we would put pressure.
Sanju Samson said, “I like to play under pressure. Did not play a lot of matches against Pakistan but there was pressure. I used my experience and enjoyed batting with Tilak. ”
