In the first match of Women’s Premier League Season 4, Gujarat Giants defeated UP Warriors by 10 runs. Batting first in this match played at DY Patil Sports Academy, Gujarat Giants scored 207 runs. Team captain Ash Gardner scored the most runs. The captain scored 65 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 6 fours. For UP, Phoebe Litchfield played a brilliant inning of 78 runs in 40 balls, but she could not lead her team to victory. UP remained 11 runs away from the target.
