As soon as Maratha reservation is discussed in Maharashtra, the person whose name comes first is Manoj Jarang Patil. Born in the inter -Sarati village of Ambajogai taluka of Beed district, Jarage has become a symbol of the voice and struggle of the Maratha society today.
Education and family
Jarang’s childhood was spent in the rural atmosphere. Due to limited economic means, they could not reach higher education. They come from an ordinary farmer family. They have the main means of farming. Manoj Jarange is married and is the father of two sons. His family is associated with farming and social service.
Start of movement
Manoj Jarange started the work of raising the issues of society and farmers about 15 years ago. While raising voice at the local level, he gradually became part of the big movement.
In 2013–14, when the demand for Maratha reservation was gaining momentum, he played an active role. But after 2021, his struggle was further sharp when he sat in his village on hunger. Police lathi -charged in Manoj Jarange Patil’s movement.
His fast movement started from Jalna district in 2023 came into the limelight across the state and then he became the face of the Maratha reservation movement.
Political approach
Jarge is not directly connected to any party. They consider themselves fair. But each of his activity affects both the ruling party and the opposition. His strategy has always been to put pressure on both sides.
Ideology and inspiration
Anna Hazare’s movement had a profound impact on Jarang. Struggling through non -violence and fast is his favorite way. They always insist on adopting the constitutional and peaceful path.
Property and lifestyle
Jarang has an average level of agricultural land. His life is associated with simplicity and rural environment. Neither big household hobby, nor convoy of vehicles are leaders living between fields and ordinary people.
Interesting facts
Jayen will be known to the limited scope, now due to social media and media coverage, they are famous all over Maharashtra. The declaration of every movement of them determines the direction of politics. People call him a “leader emerged from the village”.
During the movements, they live in an ordinary hut or pandal and sleep on the ground, so that the message of their simplicity and struggle can reach the society.
