Lok Sabha MP from Nagaur in Rajasthan and RLP president Hanuman Beniwal said that he will vote for Opposition candidate B Sudarshan Reddy in the Vice Presidential election to be held on Tuesday (September 9). On Monday (September 8), Beniwal met Opposition candidate B Sudarshan Reddy for the post of Vice President. After this meeting, he gave this statement. CP Radhakrishnan, the current Governor of Maharashtra, is a candidate from the ruling NDA. MPs participate in the Vice Presidential elections and the party’s whip does not run in it.

We are happy that RLP is part of India alliance- Beniwal

Hanuman Beniwal said, “B Sudarshan Reddy always retained the honor of the judiciary. We are happy that the National Democratic Party is part of the India alliance. All the parties of India Alliance made him their candidate. We had voted last time but last time we voted but the Vice President has resigned in the middle. Will give us happiness that we are always standing with a person who remains the honor of the judiciary.

Cross voting will be done- Beniwal’s claim

Along with this, he claimed that there will be 100 percent cross voting in the Vice Presidential elections. The vote is not given by showing it, so it seems that there will be cross voting.

Voting from 9 am, results till late evening

Voting for the Vice Presidential election will start at 10 am on September 9 and will end at 5 pm. The results are expected to be declared by late evening. There are 233 elected members of the Rajya Sabha (currently five seats are vacant), 12 nominated members and 543 elected members of the Lok Sabha (currently one seat) for the 17th Vice Presidential election of the country.
