Now the Municipal Corporation Mayor elections are awaited in Maharashtra. The results have come but mayor has not been elected in any municipal corporation yet. Political parties are collecting data and where the data is clear, discussions are going on as to whose participation will be there. Everyone’s eyes are also on Thane Municipal Corporation. There are total 131 seats here. The majority figure is 66. Shiv Sena has won 75 seats here. Whereas BJP has 28 councillors. Asaduddin Owaisi’s party surprisingly won 5 seats here.
Whom will AIMIM support?
Meanwhile, when AIMIM’s youth councilor from Thane Sahar Shaikh was asked who her party would support here, she said, “We have not decided yet, you will know soon.”

Let us tell you that Municipal Corporation elections were held in Maharashtra on 15th January. The results were announced on 16 January. After this, reservation for the post of Mayor was decided through lottery on 22 January. The picture of who will become mayor may become clear in the first week of February.
