AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has started his election campaign with full enthusiasm regarding Bihar assembly elections. Asaduddin Owaisi has accused the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition India Alliance of neglecting the Muslim community of Bihar. During this, he also criticized the statements given by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Union Ministers.
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi started his election campaign on Tuesday (October 28, 2025) from Gopalganj district of Bihar. Addressing an election rally here, Owaisi raised the question as to why Bihar cannot have a Muslim Chief Minister, when the share of the minority community (Muslim community) in the total population of the state is 17 percent. He accused the ruling NDA and opposition India Alliance in Bihar of discriminating against the Muslim community.
Owaisi takes a jibe at Grand Alliance’s Deputy Chief Minister candidate
Hyderabad Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM is contesting 32 assembly seats in the state in the Bihar assembly elections. For which the party chief has started the election campaign from Gopalganj. During this, he held a rally in a village in Gopalganj district and also addressed a public meeting.
He also took a dig at the candidate for the post of Deputy Chief Minister from the Grand Alliance. Owaisi said, ‘The minority community represents 17 percent of the total population of Bihar, so why can’t a Muslim become the Chief Minister of the state? However, he has no problem in promising to make Mukesh Sahni, a person from three percent of the population and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief, the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.
Owaisi surrounded the Grand Alliance by taking the name of BJP
Asaduddin Owaisi said, ‘Leaders of opposition political parties like Congress, RJD and Samajwadi Party first show fear of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to the people of Muslim community and then ask them to vote for themselves. However, all these parties themselves have never been able to stop the BJP, but they keep making such statements to get the votes of Muslim voters.
