Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati has given clarification in the case of Type-8 bungalow allotted to her in Delhi. During a press conference in Lucknow, he said that being the BSP chief and former Chief Minister, he had been allotted such a bungalow in the past also due to security threat. Therefore, no unnecessary talk and politics should be done on this matter. He cautioned the party workers and said, ‘As the elections approach, the conspiracies of the opponents to keep the BSP away from power by adopting tactics like Sama-Daam-Dand-Bheda etc. will increase. BSP workers should not be misled and should remain engaged with all their heart, mind and soul in preparing for the next elections.
Along with this, terming the news of contesting the upcoming assembly elections in alliance as ‘fake news’ being spread with the intention of misleading, he said on Wednesday that his party will fight the next elections on its own. Mayawati said that such news is being spread that BSP will contest the next assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh in alliance. It is widely discussed that it is ‘fake news’ being spread purely with the intention of misleading people. He said, ‘This is absolutely wrong, false, false and fabricated news. In such a situation, along with the leaders, the media should also avoid this type of news.
Make sure to form your government with full majority – Mayawati
Mayawati also indirectly took a jibe at the ‘AI Summit’ being held in Delhi and said, ‘Instead of strengthening democracy and the Constitution by awakening the country and the world about the bitter reality of larger national interest and public interest, these days selfish discussions are taking place about ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (Artificial Intelligence) being the key to success. Meanwhile, in the media world too, on some pretext or the other, there is talk about BSP that the party will contest the next assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh in alliance. This is absolutely false.
The BSP chief said that she has publicly announced several times that her party will contest the elections on its own and especially in the Maharally organized in Lucknow on October 9, 2025, on the occasion of the death anniversary of BSP’s founder and founder Kanshi Ram. Now there is no scope left for any such discussion or debate. However, as part of a conspiracy, such fake news is being spread by some people and a section of the media. This will be considered as an anti-BSP gimmick on which people do not need to pay any attention at all.
UP Politics: Mayawati cut the kite in UP, Akhilesh did not hold the string, what will Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM do now?
Mayawati said that BSP workers know very well that the thinking of Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ‘narrow’. Also, being an ‘opponent’ of the most revered Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, his being an Ambedkarite and his policy of forging an alliance with the BSP is only for electoral interest. The BSP chief said that forming an alliance only causes loss to BSP, that is why BSP people will fight the 2027 assembly elections alone with all their heart.
He alleged, ‘To divert the attention of BSP workers, the opposition parties keep hatching heinous conspiracies. In such a situation, it is a request to all the people of the party that they should not pay any attention to such absurd and fabricated things and they (workers) should keep moving forward like the graceful gait of an elephant and like the year 2007, by fighting this election alone, they should again form their own government with full majority of BSP.
