Brotherhood is slowly ending in the country: Ansari
Regarding the attack on a clothing store named Baba School Dress and Matching Center in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, former Vice President Hamid Ansari said, ‘Casteism is one thing, language is a different thing and this incident that happened in Uttarakhand, all these are not different. All this is the result of the fact that mutual brotherhood is gradually ending.
He said, ‘If you go from Ladakh to Kanyakumari, what is the similarity? Neither their language is the same, nor their way of life, nor their food habits, but there is one thing that connects everyone that they are all citizens of this country and this is what keeps us united. If that feeling, that plant is not watered, it will slowly start withering.

Every person is responsible for discrimination in the country: Ansari
He said that if today we read in newspapers that there was a dispute on language, somewhere there was a fight on someone’s religion and somewhere there was a fight on some other matter, then we all are responsible for this discrimination, each one of us is responsible for it. I cannot completely blame any one person for this. Everyone has a role in creating the environment that is created in the society. A big leader has a big role, a small leader has a small role. Today the feeling of brotherhood is ending.
