In all this, her real voice and personality were suppressed.”

Time spent amidst music and art in London
She said, “During my break I went to London and stayed at a college there and studied Shakespeare and poetry. I spent time in museums and art and learned about Buddhism and yoga. “I tried to make my life based on learning, soul and curiosity rather than being seen in the public eye.”

After this deep self-discovery, Lisa moved towards independent films. He said, “At that time films were usually made on low budget, but my aim was not just to make money. I used to make films with confidence and hope, it was an opportunity for me to know and understand myself. My films included both light-hearted and serious films. I enjoyed discovering my personality through each of these characters.

Talking about old photographs and films, Lisa said, “Even though they remind me of my old beauty, my real aim was never to be famous or look beautiful. For me, the real work was to bring depth to life, to find meaning and to remove the burden of people’s external expectations. Time did not erase me, but revealed my true self. This journey proved to be an experience for me to understand and accept myself.
