Why did Neetu Chandra say in the interview, “It is time to change the image of Bihar?”

The 56th International Film Festival of India has ended in Panaji, Goa. Meanwhile, famous producers of Bollywood also took part in this event which lasted for 9 days. During this time we talked to Neetu Chandra.

Neetu Chandra said that our Bhojpuri films are often not released in Bihar, but they represent our culture, our art and our talent. Bhojpuri is our mother tongue and we are proud of it. Neetu Chandra and her brother are National Award winners. Director Nitin Chandra is promoting clean and quality cinema through Champaran Talkies. His films present the true image of Bihar and show the audience that there are talented filmmakers here too.

Even though the image of Bhojpuri films is often associated with obscenity, we are trying to change it. His films have cultural, social and clean content, which has also been appreciated in international film festivals. International audiences enjoy films through subtitles. He wants to prove that high-quality films can be made from Bihar too and the entire image can be changed with the power of content.
