Donald Trump Raise Us Tariffs: US President Donald Trump on Wednesday gave a big relief by applying a brake of 90 days on the higher tariff rates on its business partner countries. However, he increased the tariff to 125% over China. After the tariff implemented to 46 countries of the world and European Union, Trump took a U-turn on his decision within just 13 hours due to the huge threat of the market and the recession.
According to Bloomberg report, Trump was under heavy pressure from industrialists and investors. When he was questioned in the White House about retreating from this move, he said, “I think people are going out of the line.”
No other president did this
He further said that he was getting a little irritable and a little scared. No other President did this. In such a situation, someone had to do this. They had to stop it because it was not going to last long. I feel honored by doing this and someone had to do this.
Trump, however, announced that the tariffs on imported goods from China will be increased from 104% to 125% which will be applicable from midnight of 10 April. His announcement further increased the tension in the world’s two big economy.
China did not honor
He said in a social post that he is putting a brake on many business partnership countries on the reciperook tariff because they all came to us for conversation and not retaliated. Along with this, Trump also accused China of not having respect.
Trump wrote on Truth Social- After the kind of disrespect China has shown in world markets, the tariff charge on China is being increased to 125% from the US, which will be applicable with immediate effect.
