After winning her first National Film Award for ‘Mrs. Chatterjee Verses Norway’, Rani Mukherjee revealed the special reason behind the defeat worn at a ceremony held in New Delhi earlier this week. In fact, the 47 -year -old actress wore a special kind of necklace on which the first letters of her daughter Adira’s name were written. It became one of the most talked about highlights of that day.
Why did Rani Mukherjee wear daughter’s name
Talking to India Today, Rani said that this necklace was a way for her to keep her daughter that day which matters a lot to her. He said that Adira was excited to attend the event, but when she was told that children below 14 years of age were not allowed to come, her heart was broken.
Recalling the queen said, “She was screaming because she wanted to be a part of the National Award function. Rani said,” This is’ unfair “that she cannot be with me on this special day.”

Rani Mukherjee further said that wearing a necklace was the closest way to take her daughter in the spirit. He said, “She is my lucky charm. I wanted her with me, and this was the closest way I could ..”
