Border 2 is in tremendous buzz on social media these days. Even before the release of the film, mixed reactions are being seen regarding the teaser, trailer and songs. There was a lot of criticism regarding the VFX of the teaser, which the makers also accepted to some extent. But Border 2 is a film based not just on VFX but on nostalgia, emotion and patriotism.
Many negative reviews surfaced on YouTube and social media, where creators raised questions about VFX and presentation. At the same time, the iconic song “Sandese Aate Hain” refreshed the memories of the old Border (1997). Varun Dhawan faced trolling, which he termed as paid negativity.
Sunny Deol’s powerful presence, army backdrop and emotional storyline are considered to be the biggest strengths of this film. Viral trends related to Ahan Shetty and Riteish Deshmukh have also increased the online discussion. Overall, the emotional value of Border 2 is quite high and in such a situation, it would be better for the audience to watch the film in the theater first and then give their verdict.
