The special thing was that he used to give great respect and respect to women. There would be a separate meeting for women in them, where they would have given their needs, whether it is marriage, any celebration or sudden expense. If someone had mortgaged the jewelery, Bulaki Shah would be sure and gave the money. This was the reason that he had become an example among the moneylenders.

When he came to know that his son had often started going there, one night he himself also reached there and sat in front of the son. After this, he stopped going to Tabi Bazaar. Then the people of the street, who were suffering losses, sent a delegation and pleaded with Bulaki Shah that they should send their son to Tabi Bazaar, but they flatly refused and did not even accept the returned amount.
The fear of Bulaki Shah’s eyes
Bulaki Shah’s fear of people used to be seen by seeing his building. The children used to be scared by his name. According to a case registered in the Civil Judges of October 1901, he has given European Officer of Railways T.G. Achers were lent at Rs 1500 at three percent interest. Achers paid interest, but did not return the original amount. The matter reached the court, where the court described the rate of interest highly, but because it was written by the contract across, Bulaki Shah finally received Rs 2065.
Partition changed life
The Indo-Pakistan partition also changed the life of Bulaki Shah. It is said that one of his sons was murdered during the riots. This shock broke them from inside. According to the reports, he became unusual in the last days and the pages of his books were seen flowing in the drains of Gumti Bazaar in Lahore. After partition, many borrowers remained in Pakistan and the money could not be returned.
Today the biggest moneylender building turned into ruins
