India Squad for England Test: The Indian cricket team’s tour of England will start from June 20, five Test matches will be played between the two teams. This series against England will be the first challenge in Team India’s World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle (WTC 2025-27). The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also announced Team India for this series, but a deadly bowler has not got an entry in it. England batsmen tremble

Shami has so far taken 44 wickets in 15 Tests against England. At the same time, he has taken 42 wickets in 14 matches so far in England’s Conditions. England is the country on foreign tours in which Mohammed Shami has taken the most wickets so far.
Why Mohammed Shami did not get a place
While announcing the Indian squad for the England Tour, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar made a statement if Mohammed Shami was not elected. Agarkar had said that Shami has not yet been able to take a workload of the level, at which he should have been. Agarkar said that the selectors were expecting Shami to be fully fit, but it is unfortunate to not get fit. The Chief Selector said that Shami has not been fully fit to play the test format yet.
