This time not because of his film but because of the IPL team Kolkara Knight Riders. Auction is being held regarding IPL 2026. IPL auction was held on 16 December. In which Shahrukh has bought a player about which there is a terrible controversy.

1- Shahrukh Khan’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders has bought Bangladeshi cricket player Mustafizur Rahman. Shahrukh buys Mustafizur Rahman in mini auction 9Bought for Rs 2 crore. Controversy has started after buying Bangladeshi cricketer. This controversy has increased further when cases of lynching of four Hindus have come to light in Bangladesh.
2- There was a demand from BCCI to ban Bangladeshi players but they have refused to do so. BCCI says that they will not take any decision until an order comes from the Government of India.
3- Talking about Mustafizur Rahman, he is a left arm fast bowler and is known for his cutters and slower balls. Mustafizur is a very brilliant bowler and he has been praised many times.
4- Shahrukh is embroiled in controversies after buying a Bangladeshi cricketer. Many people are also calling him a traitor. Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya has condemned Shahrukh Khan. He said- He is not a hero. Shahrukh Khan has no character. His actions are like those of a traitor.
5- Spiritual guru, Devkinandan Thakur accused KKR and Shahrukh Khan of ignoring the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh. He said- ‘Hindus are being brutally murdered in Bangladesh, their houses are being burnt and their sisters and daughters are being raped. After witnessing such brutal murders, how can someone be so cruel as to include a cricketer from the same country in his team?
