Now in an interview this singer has revealed the reason for this.
Why is Ali Chinoy away from Bollywood playback singing for years?
In fact, during an interview given to The Free Press Journal, when Alisha was asked what kept her away from Bollywood playback singing for so many years, she openly said that her decision was not an impulsive decision, but was the result of emotional and professional fatigue. She said, “To be honest, I was bored with Bollywood music. I was feeling a bit tired as an artiste. I wanted to do something different.”
Alisha told that she started feeling separation from the musical direction of the films, due to which she decided to step aside instead of compromising.
Industry politics and illegal contracts were also the reasons
Apart from creative fatigue, Alisha also revealed the politics of the industry. “There were other reasons for it, like the politics going on,” he said, adding, “Copyright issues, injustice and lack of fairness for artists, we were just being forced to sign contracts that, in my opinion, were completely illegal. So, I refused to sign them, and that was another reason why people wouldn’t call me.”
Her decision to reject the Questionable Agreement left her with fewer opportunities, but Alisha made it clear that she would stick to her principles and did so without any regrets. “It felt right to me,” she says.
She was away from Bollywood due to personal reasons also
Alisha also told that her step was not just due to professional situation. In fact, life also demanded a special place and attention. He said, “I had to stay away for a very long time because I had some personal issues.” He did not go into much detail but accepted that this time was important for his well-being and growth.
