According to the reports of Times of India, the film has collected Rs 2.5 crore in the US on its premiere day itself. To be premiered on October 29. There are 150 shows of the film. 14000 tickets of the film have been sold. If we talk about the entire weekend, the film has earned Rs 3.52 crores. This film has become the highest grossing re-release film.
Talking about the premiere day numbers, 180,000 US dollars were generated from IMAX bookings alone. The film will be released on 150 IMAX screens. Out of these, 62 screens are from America.
Film producer Shobu Yarlagadda told Times of India that he is not releasing the re-cut version of the film to earn money, rather he wants to show the magic again on the big screen to the audience who have grown up watching films on TV, laptop and phone. Bahubali- The Epic has been directed by SS Rajamouli. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Satyaraj will be seen in the film.
