In the 7th Pay Commission, a fitment factor of 2.57 was kept to decide the salary of employees and officers. On this basis, the new salary was decided by increasing the old salary. Due to this there was a good increase in the income of government employees.
Now discussion regarding 8th Pay Commission
Now the discussion regarding the 8th Pay Commission has intensified across the country. Although there has been no official announcement from the government regarding its implementation yet, it is expected that a decision on this can be taken in the coming time.
If the 8th Pay Commission comes into force, the rules for determining salary can be changed again. It is believed that the new fitment factor may be higher than the current level. This will increase the salary of all government employees and officers.
How much can the salary increase?
If the 8th Pay Commission is implemented and the fitment factor is increased, then there can be a good increase in the salary of officers like DSP. According to estimates, the minimum salary of DSP can be more than Rs 80,000. Whereas the maximum salary can reach Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 1.85 lakh.
