Whenever a team buys a player in the IPL auction, money is deducted from its purse. However, Mustafizur Rahman is not out of IPL due to any injury. His case is completely different. According to the rules of IPL, now KKR will not have to pay any money to Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh.

According to IPL rules, if BCCI directs to drop a player for any reason other than cricket, then the entire amount spent on that player is returned to the franchise. This situation is called ‘Force Majeure’. This is such an extraordinary situation which is not under anyone’s control. In these cases the franchise is not obliged to fulfill the contract made with the player. For this reason, Mustafizur Rahman will not get any amount after being released by KKR.
