Mustafizur Rahman Refused To Take Legal Action Against KKR: Things are not going well between India and Bangladesh at present. Due to which Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was recently released from IPL 2026. In the mini auction of Indian Premier League 2026, Kolkata Knight Riders bought Mustafizur Rahman for Rs 9.20 crore. However, due to the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, protests against the franchise started in India. In view of this controversy, BCCI gave instructions to KKR. After this, Kolkata released Mustafizur from its team.

Mustafizur Rahman will not take legal action against KKR

Bangladesh Cricketers Welfare Association (CWAB) president Mohammad Mithun has revealed that a possible legal or administrative fight against IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders was considered, but not done at the behest of Mustafizur Rahman.

Mustafizur has refused to take any kind of legal action against KKR. 30 year old fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman made his debut in IPL in the year 2016. Since then, he has played 60 matches in the Indian Premier League, in which Rahman has taken 65 wickets while bowling at an economy of 8.13.

Bangladesh is creating ruckus over not coming to India for the World Cup

Bangladesh Cricket Board has taken a big decision after the expulsion of Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman from IPL 2026. BCB has refused to come to India for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 citing security reasons. Bangladesh wants their World Cup matches to be held outside India. But, ICC has asked Bangladesh Board to rethink about its stand.

Let us tell you that Bangladesh is in Group C in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. Apart from them, there are England, West Indies, Nepal and Italy in the group. Bangladesh has to play 3 matches at Eden Gardens in Kolkata while they have to play 1 match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Now it remains to be seen whether Bangladesh comes to India for the T20 World Cup or not.
