The political stir regarding Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant has once again intensified. Will Nishant enter active politics? On one hand, claims are being made by RJD regarding this, while on the other hand, the statements coming from JDU are also giving many big indications.
RJD has even said that Nishant Kumar is coming into active politics after Kharmas. He will carry forward the legacy of his father Nitish and he should also be welcomed. Tejashwi Yadav and Nishant Kumar both are young.
JDU said- Nishant has limitless possibilities
JDU national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan, while talking to ABP News on Thursday (December 25, 2025), said that only the youth can give a new direction to today’s politics. The people of Bihar have liked Nishant as an educated youth. Nishant has immense potential.
Rajeev Ranjan said that Nishant Kumar can connect the party with the youth. Crores of people want Nishant to enter active politics. Party workers have also raised this demand. We will be very happy if he comes into active politics and looks after the work of the organization. Now the decision has to be taken by Nishant.
BJP does not want Nishant to enter politics?
Regarding Nishant Kumar, RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said that there is a possibility that Nishant Kumar will come into active politics after Kharmas (January 14). Will carry forward the legacy of his father Nitish. We want him to come. He is welcome in politics. He said that the BJP minded people in JDU do not want Nishant to enter politics. Even BJP does not want this, because BJP has been Nitish’s stooge party for 20 years. Now she does not want to live as a hanger-on with Nishant.
