BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has given a big update on Virat and Rohit’s central contract category. The BCCI Secretary said that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will remain in the A Plus category of BCCI Central Contract. Now it is clear that there will be no cut in their salary. Both will continue to get seven crore rupees annually from BCCI.
What is the rule to include in the central contract
For your information, let us know that the BCCI includes those players in the central contract, who have played at least 3 Tests, 8 ODIs or 10 T20 Internationals in a year. If a player does not play the test, but plays ODI and T20, then he is included in the contract.
