Why is General Health Tests necessary?

Regular health checkup not only shows the time of diseases but can also be protected from serious problems. According to Dr. Anamika, women must conduct these seven Tests:

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) – This shows anemia, infection and many other problems.
  • Iron stores – It is necessary to check iron level in the body so that anemia can be avoided.
  • Vitamin D Test – It is necessary for the strength and immunity of bones.
  • Vitamin B12 Test – Its deficiency can cause fatigue and neurological problems.
  • Lipid profile – It is necessary to learn cholesterol level (HDL, LDL, Triglycerides), so that heart health remains maintained.
  • Fasting glucose / HBA1C – To check blood sugar level so that diabetes can be detected.
  • Thyroid panel (TSH, T3/T4) – imbalance of thyroid hormone can affect weight, mood and fertility.

Fertility and Reproductive Health Test

Many women think that if they are not doing a pregnancy plan right now, then the fertility test is not needed, but it is wrong. It is very important to understand and track reproductive health in time. According to experts, it is necessary to conduct this test.

  • AMH (Anti‑mullerian Hormone) – Ovarian Reserve means to know the number and quality of eggs.
  • FSH (follicle‑stimulating hormone) – This test performed on the third day of periods tells the health of ovary.
  • LH (luteinizing hormone) – Test is done on the third day of ovulation window or periods.
  • Estradiol (E2) – required to check hormonal balance.
  • Prolactin – Its imbalance affects periods and fertility.

If you are at the age of 28 to 35 years, then include these tests in your health checklist. These will not only help in tracking your existing health but will also protect them from big health problems in the future. Remember, the short step taken on time can save you from major illness.
