According to the report, Govind Dholakia, founder and chairman of Shri Ramakrishna Exports Private Limited, wrote to BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla and expressed his desire to gift handmade natural diamond jewelery to every member of the Champions Indian team as a mark of respect for their hard work.
Also expressed desire to install solar panels
Govind Dholakia is famous for his social service work. In the letter, he has also expressed his desire to install solar panels on the roofs of the houses of Indian women cricketers. According to the report, he wrote, “Just as that player brings light to our country, may her life also always shine.”
BCCI gave Rs 51 crore
On becoming the champion of Indian women’s cricket team, BCCI announced a prize money of Rs 51 crore for Harmanpreet Kaur and team and support staff. Let us tell you that this amount is more than the amount given by ICC for becoming champion. Indian team will get Rs 33.55 crore from ICC for winning the World Cup. The prize money for the runner-up (South Africa women’s cricket team) was close to Rs 20 crore.
BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia while talking to PTI said, “BCCI will give a cash prize of Rs 51 crore to the Indian women’s team as a reward for becoming the World Cup champion. This includes the players along with support staff and selection committee members.
Shefali Verma’s bat played in the final
Shefali Verma was chosen Player of the Match in the Women’s World Cup final, she had played a brilliant inning of 87 runs in the first 78 balls.
