Similarly, we are telling about five big battles, which have left a deep impression in the mutual conflict between two countries.
India’s Operation Sindoor against Pakistan
In the beginning of May 2025, tension suddenly increased between two neighboring countries of the world. During this time, India carried out Operation Sindoor and carried out missile attacks on 7 May. This attack was a revenge for the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. Terrorists had killed 26 people in the Pahalgam attack. Adopting a zero tolerance strategy against the Terror Act, this operation targeted the hideouts of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba located in Murid. Both these places were within the border of Pakistan. Pakistan also responded to India’s action, military level talks continued for four days and ceasefire was imposed on 10 May.

It is about 13 June 2025, on this day Israel started a major military operation against Iran. In this, nuclear-military bases and government infrastructure were attacked. The attack took place after almost two years of conflict between Israel and fundamentalist groups in Iran. Both the countries had come into direct conflict. America entered this fight. It targeted those sites of Iran’s nuclear program, which Israel was not able to destroy. On June 24, there was a ceasefire between the two. This fight lasted for 12 days.
conflict between afghanistan and pakistan
At the end of the year, in the month of October, there was tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan. This war started with Pakistan carrying out an airstrike targeting Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan leader Noor Wali Mehsud in Kabul. This strike took place after TTP attack on Pakistani soldiers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After this attack, Afghanistan also retaliated. In this, 23 Pakistani soldiers were killed, nine Afghan soldiers lost their lives. Pakistan accused TTP of allowing it to operate from Afghan territory. However, Afghanistan rejected this. Both countries are currently ready for ceasefire, but tension between the two countries can increase at any time.
DRC-Rwanda conflict and Goma attack
Fighting in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo was seen in January 2025. Because of this, M23 rebels started attacking in Goma in support of Rwandan forces. This operation began on January 23 and ended on January 27 after the capture of Goma, the capital of North Kivu region. This fighting continued till the end of the month. A peace agreement was reached between the two countries with the mediation of America. But tensions and clashes still persist.
Thailand-Cambodia clash with weapons
On July 24, 2025, the world saw another big fight. This time there were two countries, Thailand and Cambodia. A clash with weapons was seen between the two. The issue of fight was regarding the old temple complex. By July 27, this fighting spread to 12 places. There were 38 deaths in this. 3 lakh people were rendered homeless. After this, ASEAN headed by Malaysia demanded immediate ceasefire. UN called an emergency session of the Security Council. After this, after the mediation of Malaysia and diplomatic help from US-China, ceasefire was immediately declared after talks on 28th July.
