WPL 2026: MI could not chase 188 runs, UP won in a thrilling match; Match overturned in 19th over

In the first match of the double header in the Women’s Premier League on Saturday, UP Warriors defeated Mumbai Indians by 23 runs. Batting first, UP Warriors had scored 187 runs. Captain Mag Lanning (70) and Phoebe Lichfield (61) played half-centuries. While chasing the target, Mumbai team could score only 165 runs. This is Mumbai’s second consecutive defeat and UP’s second consecutive win.
