WPL Retention 2026 List: From MI, RCB to Delhi Capitals, see the retention list of all the teams; Many veterans were wiped out


The auction process for the next edition of the Women’s Premier League will take place this month on 27th November, before which the list of retained players of all the teams has been revealed. This does not include Deepti Sharma, who was the player of the tournament in the recently concluded World Cup. Let us tell you that a franchise can retain only a maximum of 5 players.

Royal Challengers Bangalore has retained 4 players including its captain Smriti Mandhana. Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians have retained 5-5 players. Whereas Gujarat Giants has retained only 2 players.

UP Warriors retained only one player

According to the report, UP Warriors have retained only one player and that is not Deepti Sharma. The team has retained Shweta Sehrawat, while the team’s veteran player Deepti Sharma has been released. Auction will be held on 27th November

The auction for the Women’s Premier League 2026 will take place on the 27th of this month. The auction will be held in Delhi, for this the franchise has been given a purse of Rs 15 crore. Rs 9.25 crore will be deducted from the purse of the teams which have retained all the 5 players. Mumbai and Delhi have retained 5-5 players.
