Two-time Olympic medalist Wrestler Sushil Kumar had been in judicial custody for many times in a high-profile murder case. Recently, he was granted bail by the court, after which he has officially returned his duty to Northern Railway. Sources have confirmed this to IANS.
Railway sources told IANS that Sushil Kumar, currently appointed as Senior Commercial Manager in Northern Railway, came on job in formal dress. Officials confirmed their restoration, saying that this process was done as per service rules.

Sushil Kumar was in judicial custody since 2021 in connection with the murder of Sagar Dhankhar. The Delhi High Court had recently granted bail to the wrestler citing a long delay in the trial process. However, Sushil Kumar’s legal battle is not over yet, investigation is going on.
Sushil Kumar saw a mixed response of people on getting bail. Some people are criticizing this for getting bail to accused Sushil Kumar in the murder case, while some argue that he is innocent till he is proved guilty and is entitled to resume his professional responsibilities.
