WTC 2025-27: The Indian Test team is now ready for the next stop of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 after drawing a five-match exciting Test series 2–2 against England. India scored 28 out of a total of 60 points from this series and currently remain in third place in the points table, now Indian cricket fans have a question in whom will India’s next Test match and which teams will fight in WTC 2025-27?
When and from whom is India’s next Test match?
Team India will play their next Test match against the West Indies. This two -match domestic series will start from 2 October 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The second Test will be held from October 10 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The Windies team captained by Roston Chase will present a challenge in India.
South Africa collision in November
South Africa will visit India in November 2025 in the third series of the WTC 2025 champions. A two -match Test series will be played between the two teams. The first match will be held on November 14 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and the second from 22 to 26 November at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
India will go on two foreign tours in 2026
July 2026: India will play a two -match Test series against Sri Lanka. The last time in 2022, India defeated Sri Lanka 2–0 under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
November 2026: India will play two Test matches in November on New Zealand tour. In the last domestic series, India had to face an embarrassing defeat against New Zealand. Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, India also lost two Tests on New Zealand tour in 2020.
Australia clashed in early 2027
At the end of the WTC cycle, India will play a five -match home Test series against Australia in the first quarter of 2027. In the last border-Gavaskar Trophy, the Indian team lost 1-3, but in 2023 India won the domestic series 2–1.
