Lucknow, February 19: The controversy regarding the romantic-action film ‘Yadav Ji Ki Love Story’ is becoming more intense. In this context, now Samajwadi Party MLA Pankaj Malik has expressed his strong displeasure regarding the film. Besides, serious questions have also been raised on the role of the present government and the censor board. While talking to IANS, he said that such controversies are being deliberately created in the country and the state, so that the society can be made to fight among themselves in the name of caste and religion. Pankaj Malik said.
SP MLA’s taunt on the responsibility of Censor Board
“As long as this government is in place, the work of fighting people will continue, sometimes in the name of religion and sometimes in the name of caste.” He alleged that sometimes controversy is created over the microphone of the mosque, and sometimes the atmosphere is spoiled by targeting a particular caste. Now efforts are being made to divide the society through films also. The SP MLA also raised questions on the responsibility of the Censor Board.
He said, “Approving films is the responsibility of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which works under the Government of India. In such a situation, it is beyond understanding that if a film is going to hurt the sentiments of the society, then how was it approved. It was the responsibility of the Censor Board to ban such content in advance.
Pankaj Malik remembers ‘Briber Pundit’ controversy
He said, “Even before this, there has been controversy regarding the film ‘Ghooshkhor Pandat’. Coming of such films one after the other is an attempt to create tension in the society.” Pankaj Malik further said, ”If films have to be made then they should be made on those great leaders and great men who have done something for the country and society.”
Giving examples, he said, “If you want to make films, then make them on people like Netaji Mulayam Singh, Chaudhary Charan Singh, Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh, so that the coming generation can get the right direction.” These leaders have worked for the upliftment of the society and the state.” The MLA strongly condemned the film ‘Yadav Ji Ki Love Story’ and said that such films send a wrong message to the society. He demanded the government to take cognizance of this matter and stop such activities in future.
