The police has revealed the murder of a youth that took place on February 26 in Amar Vihar Colony of Yamunanagar. The police arrested the murdered girlfriend and her son. During interrogation, it was revealed that the young man often used to beat his girlfriend under the influence of alcohol, due to which she was upset.
Meanwhile, when the girlfriend’s son came to stay there, the young man continued to behave in a similar manner, due to which both of them together strangled him to death and fled away. However, both mother and son have been arrested by the police from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
Dead body of a young man was found on the roof of the house
Gunjan Kumar, 27, originally from Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, was living in a rented house with his girlfriend Khushboo alias Reena (49 years) in Amar Vihar Colony. Both were living together for about two years. On 26 February, the body of the young man was found lying on the roof of the house. He was murdered by strangulation. After this Sushma was absconding from here.
When the police started investigation, it came to light that along with the deceased and Sushma, another youth Akash also lived in this house. No one knew much about him at that time. Jagadhri City police station in-charge Rajendra Kumar said that murder accused Sushma has been arrested. The young man living with him, Akash, is his son.
She left her husband and came in contact with the deceased.
Sushma had left her first husband, after which she came in contact with Gunjan. Both of them came here and started living together and worked as laborers in the factory. About one and a half months ago, Akash came here to stay with his mother. Gunjan used to beat Sushma while under the influence of alcohol. He was against keeping Akash here.
There used to be a fight between the two regarding this matter. That’s why mother and son together murdered him. After the murder, both the accused absconded and on the night of 25th February, Gunjan also assaulted Sushma while under the influence of alcohol. There was a lot of debate between the two. He threw Sushma and Akash out of the house.
Murder of young man after riot
Both of them went out at night itself, but late at night both of them came back thinking that Gunjan must be asleep now. He will not create a ruckus. But when both of them reached, Gunjan woke up and again started abusing them under the influence of alcohol.
The dispute escalated and Akash first attacked her with a knife. Then both of them together strangulated him to death and fled from there. At present both the accused have been presented in the court and taken on remand.
