Sania did not get star treatment at home
Sania Mirza said that she does not get star treatment at home. While talking to Zoom, Sania said, ‘You know, when I used to go home, whether I was winning or losing, I was treated like a daughter of the house. I was never treated like Sania Mirza. Even till today, it is not the case that I have gone to a house and there is a red carpet laid there, even if I do not live in that house. I am either in Dubai or here. It is not that I have gone to my parents’ house and they are treating me as if the apple of their eye has arrived.
Sania further said, ‘This does not happen in our house. This is why I stay grounded. Because they ensure that I stay in reality. That you might be Sania Mirza outside but here you are only a daughter. You know that when I became famous, I started earning my own money. Even then I had to reach home at 12 o’clock. Not because my parents don’t believe in me but because you know what the environment is like outside. Even if I was in a night club, I had to call and inform at 12 o’clock. It used to happen at home that Cinderella called, it was a joke in the house. I used to ask him if I could come after 1 hour. So my mother was awake till then. This was only for safety reasons.
