But despite being conditioned, he returned to shooting for Shyam Benegal’s film ‘Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’.
When he returned to Mumbai, his situation worsened and after the biopsy it was revealed that he has cancer in his stomach. Sham Kaushal said, ‘Three days after the surgery I came to my senses and I saw that everyone’s behavior was changed for me. Everyone was worrying for me. The doctors took out something from my stomach and sent it to test that I did not have a risk of cancer from it. After the reports, doctors told that I will not survive now ‘.
This sentence of doctors broke the encouragement
Sham Kaushal had stomach infection and investigation revealed that they had cancer. He was admitted to the hospital for about 50 days, that cancer did not spread. He continued to treat for about 1 year.
He shared that he had decided to give his life by jumping from the third floor but due to stomach operation, he could not get up from the bed. ‘I told the above that if I want to kill me, then kill me now, I have no complaint but if it is possible, just give me life for 10 years because my children are still very young’. The doctors did not lose courage and Sham Kaushal also kept his freshness. However, after treatment, he recovered and now he feels very proud to see his children’s success and is living happily with his family.
