50 years of career also completed
Superstar Rajinikanth has also completed 50 years of his career this year. The actor was also honored at the 56th International Film Festival of India and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. On this occasion, the actor looked emotional and had said that if I get a chance to be born 100 times, I would like to be born as an actor because you all have given me so much love and respect. I have been working continuously in Indian cinema for 5 decades, but it feels like only a few years have passed.
Superstar’s fee is Rs 200 crores
Rajinikanth is still ruling the cinema, and his films are successful in collecting Rs 800 to 1000 crores. If media reports are to be believed, actors charge a hefty fee of Rs 200 crore for a film. Rajinikanth, who once supported his family by working as a bus conductor, today has a luxury bungalow, car and everything.
Had entered films as a villain
Very few people know that Rajinikanth worked as a villain in his early career, but then his acting and style made him a lead hero. He played a negative role in the 1975 Tamil film ‘Apoorva Raagangal’, which was very short, but then he played the role of a villain in 1977’s ‘Aadu Puli Attam’ and many films of the 70s and 80s.
