Why won’t PM Modi go to Bangladesh?
Bangladeshi news agency UNB quoted a diplomatic source in New Delhi as saying, ‘We have received an invitation from Professor Yunus.’ He told that India AI Impact Summit will be organized in New Delhi from 16th to 20th of this month. In this, India will host about 20 heads of state including French President Emmanuel Macron at the same time. This indicates that the chances of PM Modi going to Bangladesh are less.
PM Modi was one of the global leaders who first congratulated BNP. He spoke to the BNP chief over phone and expressed his support in his efforts to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Bangladesh. Prime Minister Modi said, ‘I was very happy to talk to Tariq Rehman. I congratulated him on his spectacular victory in the Bangladesh elections.
