Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is once again in the headlines for his funny style. In Netflix’s popular show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, Yuvraj Singh did such a mimicry of Virat Kohli that not only the audience but also the social media burst into laughter. Yuvraj had reached the show with his old teammates Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif.
During the show, Kapil Sharma noticed two look-alikes of Virat Kohli sitting in the audience. Kapil jokingly said that one looks exactly like the real Virat, while the other looks like Kohli has been crushed after being soaked in water for a long time. The entire studio echoed with laughter at this line of Kapil.
Yuvraj mimicked Virat during the game
After this, a fun game was played in the show, in which a card with the name written on it is placed on the head of one of the players. This time Virat Kohli’s name was on Sehwag’s card. Mohammad Kaif and Yuvraj Singh had to explain the name to Sehwag through gestures.
On this occasion, Yuvraj copied Virat Kohli’s old aggressive body language and reaction. Yuvraj said laughingly, “I didn’t want to laugh, I just wanted to say this…” He did not say the full words, but the gesture was so clear that the audience immediately understood and burst out laughing.
Even the judges and audience could not stop laughing
Even the show’s judges Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu could not stop laughing at Yuvraj’s mimicry. Archana praised Yuvraj and said that his comic timing is amazing. Both the lookalikes of Virat Kohli were also seen enjoying this joke played on themselves.
Reminded of Virat’s old style
This mimicry of Yuvraj reminds of the era of Virat Kohli, when he looked very aggressive and emotional on the field. A Ben Stokes meme related to the same period had gone viral on social media, on which Yuvraj took a light-hearted dig.
Virat’s strength is visible even on the field
Apart from jokes and fun, Virat Kohli is in great form these days. In the last match of the recently concluded ODI series against New Zealand, Virat scored a brilliant century in Indore. Both Yuvraj’s mimicry and Virat’s bat are proving to be worth the money for the fans.
