Chahal breaks silence on reality show news
Amidst the ever increasing rumours, Yuzvendra Chahal finally broke his silence on these reports on January 13. He made it clear through his official statement that he is not going to be a part of any reality show. Chahal shared a statement issued by his sports management platform ‘Legacy’ on Instagram Story, in which all these claims have been declared false.
Denial of news of joining ‘The 50’ show
It was being claimed in media reports that Chahal can be seen in the upcoming reality show ‘The 50’ on Colors TV, which is also to be streamed on Jio Hotstar. Not only this, in some news it was also said that his ex-wife Dhanashree Verma will also participate in this show and both can share the screen together.
However, Chahal’s statement clearly states that there is no truth in these reports. He has neither had any talks for this show nor has he been approached for this project.
Focus only on cricket
In his statement, Chahal has appealed to the media and social media users not to spread such news without verification, which can harm his professional image. He clearly indicated that at this time his entire focus is on the domestic cricket season and his game, and not on entering the entertainment industry.
Speculations about re-union with Dhanashree also end
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma are officially divorced in February 2025. Since then, various kinds of things have been happening about both of them. Recently, Chahal described himself as “happily single” and said that he has left that chapter behind. Now after this clear statement, the speculations about both of them being seen together in the reality show have come to an end completely.
