Jagdeep dhankar resigns: Jagdeep Dhankar (Jagdeep Dhankar) suddenly took a big step on Monday and resigned from the post of Vice President. He took this decision giving ‘priority to health’.
In his letter to President Draupadi Murmu, he said, I resign from the post of Vice President of India with immediate effect under Article 67 (A) of the Constitution to give priority to health care and to follow medical advice.
Monsoon session was to be presided over
He left the House just hours after presiding over the first day of the Rajya Sabha monsoon session for 2025. On July 22, he was to preside over several important sessions including the work advisory committee as the Chairman of Rajya Sabha.
Apart from this, on July 23, 2025, he was also going to go to Jaipur on a day -long visit. During this time he was about to talk to members of the newly elected committee of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) at Rambagh Palace, Jaipur.
The 74 -year -old Dhankar took over as the 14th Vice President of the country in August 2022. His term was to be completed in 2027, but before that he submitted his resignation.
