Ukraine’s President Zelanski has reached Washington for a visit to America. He has given information about this on X (East Twitter). He said that I am meeting President Trump. We will also talk to European leaders. I am grateful to @Potus for the invitation. We all have a strong desire to end this war quickly and reliably and peace should be permanent. It is not as it was as years ago, when Ukraine was forced to leave Crimea and a part of our former Donbas and Putin used it as a platform for a new attack.
Ukraine’s President Zelanski further said that in 1994 Ukraine was given the so -called security guarantee, but he did not work. Of course, Crimea should not have been left then, such as Ukrainians did not leave Kiev, Odessa or Kharkiv after 2022. Ukrainians are fighting for their land, for their freedom. Now our soldiers have succeeded in Donnetsk and Sumi areas. I believe that we will protect Ukraine, will give effective guarantee of security.

Russia will have to end this war-Jalensky
Zelansky said that our people will always be grateful for the support and invaluable assistance of President Trump, all people in America and every partner and colleague. Russia will have to end this war, which he started himself. I hope that with the US and our European friends, our joint power will lead Russia towards real peace. Let me tell you that before the US visit of Zelansky, there was a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump in Alaska, in which there was a discussion in relation to the Russia-Ukraine war.
