ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Warm Up Match Result: The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is going to start from February 7 under the joint hosting of India and Sri Lanka. Before the start of this tournament, all the teams are playing warm-up matches. In the warm-up match held on Tuesday, 3 February, Zimbabwe defeated Netherlands by 29 runs. This match was played at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. In this match, Ryan Burl played a strong half-century for Zimbabwe. Apart from this, fast bowler Richard Ngarava took three wickets. Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 178 runs for 9 wickets, in which Burl scored 50 runs with the help of six fours in 31 balls, while for Netherlands, fast bowler Logan van Beek took 3 wickets for 22 runs in 3 overs.

Netherlands team was limited to within 150 runs

While chasing Zimbabwe’s target of 179 runs, the Netherlands team was limited to 149 runs. Richard Ngarava was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets for 11 runs. Leg spinner Graeme Cremer took two wickets for 15 runs. After an impressive performance with the ball, Van Beek played a struggling inning of 40 runs in 31 balls with the help of three sixes, but could not take the team closer to the target.

Nepal defeated UAE by 7 wickets

A warm match was played between Nepal and UAE in Chennai, in which Nepal won by 7 wickets. In this match, Deependra Singh Airi (50 not out in 31 balls) and Arif Sheikh (61 not out in 37 balls) played brilliant half-centuries for Nepal. There was an excellent partnership of 103 runs between the two for the third wicket. Batting first, UAE scored 145 runs for 6 wickets, in which Soheb Khan scored the highest run of 38 runs. Leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane and fast bowler Karan KC took two wickets each.

Oman beat Sri Lanka A by 5 wickets

In the warm-up match held at Colts Cricket Club in Colombo, Oman defeated Sri Lanka A by five wickets in two overs. Batting first, Sri Lanka A scored 145 runs for nine wickets. For Oman, Shah Faisal, Shakeel Ahmed and Jai Odedara got two wickets each. In response, Oman achieved the target in 18 overs. On behalf of the team, Aamir Kaleem played an unbeaten inning of 80 runs in 47 balls with the help of eight fours and three sixes.
