He said that with this change, Eternal will be able to focus more seriously and will get a chance to work on new ideas. This development has come at a time when Eternal has been asked to compensate a total of Rs 27.56 crore along with interest and penalty of Rs 2 GST.

When was the company started?

It is noteworthy that in the year 2008, Deependra Goyal along with Pankaj Chadha started Zomato. Initially this platform was known as ‘Foodiebay’, which was later rebranded as Zomato. Recently, during a podcast, Goyal had revealed that earlier also he had made up his mind to leave the post of CEO and had also made an offer in this regard.

According to Goyal, he finds himself more comfortable and effective in the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) than as a CEO of a large organization, where he can work directly on product development and innovation.
