Russia Drill Nuclear Drill: Russia has started three-day nuclear exercises. More than 64 thousand soldiers and 7800 equipment are involved in this. The Russian Defense Ministry has announced that from May 19 to 21, the Russian Armed Forces are conducting exercises on the preparation and use of nuclear forces in the face of the threat of invasion.
Strategic Missile Force, Pacific Fleet and Northern Fleet are participating in this nuclear exercise. This military exercise involves joint preparation and use of nuclear weapons deployed in Belarus. The purpose of nuclear exercises is to practice actions to deter the enemy. The level of training of the soldiers involved has to be checked.
Nuclear exercises amid military confrontation in many areas of the world
This military exercise is taking place at a time when the world is already going through situations like Russia-Ukraine war, Middle East tension and increasing conflict with NATO. Experts believe that this is not just a military exercise but a show of power by Russia. In such a situation, it is believed that Vladimir Putin wants to give the message of Russia’s nuclear power to western countries and NATO. Russia says this is a regular military exercise.

More than 200 missile launchers, more than 140 aircraft included in this drill
Giving information, Russia has said that this drill includes more than 200 missile launchers, more than 140 aircraft, more than 73 warships and 13 submarines. There are also 8 atomic submarines among them. Russia’s Rocket Force, Northern Fleet, Pacific Fleet and Long Range Air Force are taking part in this exercise. Russia has said that training in the use of tactical nuclear weapons deployed in Belarus will also be given during this period.
